We are excited to share our big day with you! We want to make the trip to Howe Bay as easy as possible, so if you have questions about transportation, accommodation, restaurants, or anything else, let us know.
We appreciate that many guests will be coming from out of town. Or rather, coming from town, to Howe Bay. Here are a few options for resting your head after a night of celebrations.
The Basic Package
Freda and Edwin have space in their yard for anyone who wants to set up a tent/camper for the night. Perfect for anyone who doesn’t mind using a porta-potty and waking up to the sound of the McKie family bustling about in the wee hours, as they tend to do.
Simple Upgrade
For a more comfortable sleep, there will be a number of campers set up at the house for the weekend. Let us know early if you’d like to reserve a bunk!
Your Own Place
Looking for something with running water? There are a few great cottages in the area to rent. We can help you get in touch with some, just let us know. Keep in mind that most cottages have a minimum stay.
Full Service
We are lucky enough to have two beautiful inns within a 10-minute drive of the house. Space will fill up very quickly here, so book early!
This newly appointed 5-star inn has packages starting at $150 per night, including breakfast. 902-687-3745
Surrounded by ocean on three sides, this inn also has rates starting at $159, including breakfast. 902-583-2400
Read more "Accommodation"Until now, we’ve lived together and apart in many places over three continents in the four years of our relationship. We’re excited to begin our married life in the city of Toronto and look forward to many adventures across Canada and the world as we continue to build our lives together.
Because we don’t yet have physical roots, we foresee many moving trucks in our future. As such, we don’t have a need for many “things” and would very much appreciate your presence at our celebration and best wishes as your gift to us.
We know that some enjoy the tradition of gifting, so we’ve put together a list of things (click here) we believe will be put to good use in our married days – whatever and wherever the adventure is!
Thank you so much for your best wishes.
